In Buddhism, the Buddha obtained enlightenment by meditating underneath a Bodhi tree many many years ago. Many sculptures and artworks also depict Buddha with leaf from a Bodhi tree or sitting beneath a Bodhi Tree. If you have ever seen the leaves of this tree, they actually are shaped like hearts!

These are Bodhi Leaf earrings inspired by the story of the Buddha and the beautifully shaped leaves of the Bodhi tree. They are double sided, so they appear the same way on either side…and they are quite light.

24 karat vermeil, 14 karat gold filled
3/4" length (from the bottom of the ear wire)
